arnold schwarzenegger gets the “hey abbott award” for this week for his outrageous showmanship in deciding whether or not the very evil stanley tookie williams gets gassed or not in the california prison.

as you read this, tookie is either dead or alive. frankly, either way it is not too important. in his old days he killed people and started gang wars. killing him doesn’t bring back anyone.

arnie could have just said yes to tookie living or no to tookie dying. arnie didn’t have to jerk around with the decision day after day after day. all he did was to supply press releases to the media.

what really happened was that the pro execution people got a chance to bore us with their rhetoric about how we have to put criminals to death. if they had it their way, it would be on television hosted by larry king of cnn.

the anti execution people moaned and carried on about how wrong it is to put someone to death and then they cried their eyes false red. did any of them ever do anything for the victims’ families in the last 25 years since the killings?

putting stanley tookie williams or anyone to death presumably protects society from the wrong doer. frankly, the people who are involved in the process like the cops, the lawyers, the judges and the governors are the whores who you should be afraid of. their general corruption and criminality makes a guy like tookie look like an amateur thug.
